Amber Colored Agate Rosary Style Necklace | 18.5"

Rich, natural agate beads in shades of amber, garnet, and deep onyx black, each one individually wire wrapped in rosary style with tarnish resistant gold copper wire. The result is a necklace with movement and rhythm, each stone sitting slightly apart, catching light differently as it moves. Every clasp and link is hand formed, right down to the closure.

This one leans a little moodier, a little warmer. It's the necklace equivalent of a good glass of red wine by candlelight.

The Story

Though made with these bigger, bolder amber agate beads, this piece was inspired by vintage Italian rosary beads using the wire wrapped method developed in the 70's. Since each beads is wire wrapped and strung on to the chain one by one, there is a conscious deliberate effort made to ensure each express of stone in the bead is balanced overall and celebrated individually.
