Rescued Freshwater Pearl Lariat Necklace | 19.5"

Handmade wire-wrapped lariat necklace featuring a statement baroque freshwater pearl drop surrounded by rescued freshwater pearls in blush, cream, and white — individually wire-wrapped in hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant copper and linked into a delicate chain. Only one created so this one is worth showing off. Crafted in California, made to be worn wild.

The Story

Ok, so I admit it I watch Love Island - and yes, this piece was inspired by a necklace I saw one of the Islanders wearing. Call me crazy but I knew it was kismet when I was out thrifting literally the next day and saw this magic strand of multi-colored pearls in the jewelry case. It was clearly meant to be. Using a baroque pearl from my collection I paired the two creating this lariat style y-necklace that I have been super into lately. I only had enough pearls for one, so if you're lucky enough to snag snag it, I hope you wear it in the spirit of finding love, just like how these pearls came into my studio.

The Details

  • Statement baroque freshwater pearl centerpiece - iridescent, organic form
  • Rescued freshwater pearls in blush, cream, and white - individually wire wrapped throughout chain and pendant
  • Lariate-style drop pendant: 3.5" from top of the baroque pearl
  • 19.5" length around neck - sits at collarbone or just below
  • Handmade wire clasp closure
  • Hypoallergenic, tarnish resistant copper wire
  • Part of the Reclaimed collection - sourced from rescued and thrifted pearl lots

The Vibe

Something borrowed, something found. The baroque pearl at the center is the kind of imperfect that stops people mid-sentence with it's organic form, lit from within with a rosy iridescence that catches light differently every time you move. Dressed up or thrown over a linen shirt.

Handmade with responsibly sourced natural stones materials. Because no two stones are the same, your piece may vary slightly in bead tone, shape, or finish. That's the point.
